The Rehabilitation Therapy Student Society is responsible for appointing student members on the following committees:
Braken Health Sciences Library Advisory Committee To serve as a users' committee with the primary purpose of informing the Head, Bracken Health Sciences Library, of the concerns and needs of the health and life sciences users communities. One student representative is required for a one-year term. This committee meets no less than three times per year.
Education Awards Committee To promote and acknowledge excellence in teaching through the selection of faculty recipients. This committee requires one student. Student representatives will be appointed on an annual basis and will serve one year. There are only one or two meetings per year.
Simulation Committee The mandate of the committee is to facilitate and coordinate the development and implementation of simulation-based educational programs and research for Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) students and faculty.

OT Program Curriculum Committee Advise the Occupational Therapy Program (Program) in the area of present and future curriculum development, implementation and evaluation. At the request of the Program, review and make recommendations on curriculum issues, ensuring that recommendations are in keeping with the guiding principles of the OT Program (e.g., visions, objectives, professional and educational conceptual frameworks); report to the OT Program detailing the review and the recommendations.
OT Program Development and Evaluation Committee Advise the Occupational Therapy Program (Program) in the area of program development and evaluation. At the request of the Program, review and make recommendations on program development and evaluation issues, ensuring that the recommendations are in keeping with: a) the educational vision, mission and goals of the Program; b) the professional accreditation requirements; advancements in professional and education theories, practice and/or trends; and the relevant concerns of stakeholders (e.g., costs); report to the OT Program detailing the review and the recommendations.
Faculty of Health Sciences Board Faculty Board, Faculty of Health Sciences is the Governing Body for the Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Rehabilitation Therapy. Faculty Board meets approximately three (3) times a year, unless otherwise ordered by the Dean. The membership is all faculty from the Faculty of Health Sciences from all three schools listed above as well as undergraduate students and two postgraduate representatives. This committee is Chaired by a Faculty member from the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Faculty Board Executive Faculty Board Executive acts upon the delegated authority of Faculty Board to consider if necessary items approved by the Academic Council of Medicine, Nursing, Rehabilitation Therapy or Graduate Council. It may also act to consider items of an emergency nature that requires a time sensitive decision of Faculty Board.
