Tanzania Youth Togetherness Lunch Program

What is this Initiative?

Queen's Rehab Student Society is fundraising for the Foundation for Youth Togetherness, a local NGO in Tanzania that works with street connected children and youth in Moshi, Tanzania and nearby communities.  For a number of years, Rehab students have supported the work done by the Youth Togetherness organization (also know as the Pamoja Boys & Girls club) through their community development placements. This year 8 OT students and 3 PT students will be in Moshi completing their clinical and community development placements.

Funds raised from your donations will help financially support the implementation of a lunch program at the Pamjoa Boys & Girls club. The goal of the lunch program is to provide a meal for members so they are able to participate in club facilitated activities without fear of starving. By providing them with this extra needed energy, the hope is youth will be able to attend more programs, and be fully engaged and participating members of the community.

One Ndoto is an international NGO that supports the Pamjoa Boys and Girls club (a.k.a. Youth Togetherness) and this program initiative.
