Hello OTs & PTs of 2013!
I am notifying you as the Speaker of your 2012-2013 Rehab Therapy Society Council in order to inform you all of a call for nominations for the annual "Rookie of the Year" Award. This award goes out at the end of every year to one OT and one PT first year student who has demonstrated a high level of participation, sportsmanship and dedication to the intramural program and to the School of Rehab Therapy community. All first year students are eligible. The council is currently asking you to email us the name of any student who you think fits the bill by May 21st 2012. After all nominations have been received, a committee of council members will then be responsible for selecting the two award recipients. We hope to present the award at an end of the year event before - details to follow! In order to nominate someone for this award, please send an email to 1cnd@queensu.ca containing the following information: 1) Their name in full 2) Your name in full 3) A few sentences explaining why you think this person deserves to be PT or OT's Rookie of the Year!
