The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee was a new addition to the RTS beginning in 2025. The RTS recognizes that inequities exist in our society and therefore, in our classrooms as well as our professional practice. As future health professionals, we must recognize the role of social, structural, political, and economical determinants on health outcomes in order to create culturally safe relationships with our peers and clients, as well as work towards fostering inclusive spaces in healthcare.
